Ghillie: the carp angler's logbook

Ghillie is a carp fishing logbook for Android and iPhone, built by Glenn, a carp angler and software engineer from Southampton. He could never find an app that worked the way carp anglers fish: some did one part well but not the rest, most wanted a subscription, and most needed a signal you don't always get on the bank.

Three versions later, Ghillie pulls everything into one place. Anglers photograph a swim and mark the cast, rig position and horizon on it, pin each rod to its spot during a session, and log fish in a couple of taps, with the weather saved automatically. Over time, Insights shows which spots, baits and rigs actually work.

Ghillie works with no signal, needs no account and keeps everything on the phone. It is free to download with a 30-day trial, then a one-off unlock of GBP 9.99 (GBP 6.99 until 24 December 2026). No subscription.
