Good questions.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no account, no sign-in and no public feed. Install it and start logging.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Everything you log is saved on the phone with no connection needed. Weather is cached so it's still there when the signal drops; the forecast refreshes next time you're back in range.
Where is my data kept?
On your phone, in the app's private storage. We never receive it and can't see it. You can make a backup file and save it wherever you choose. The privacy policy has the full detail.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Nothing you've logged is taken away. You can still open, edit and delete everything and restore a backup. The one-off unlock lets you keep adding new records and adds Insights and backup export.
I used the old Ghillie. What happens to my data?
Ghillie has been rebuilt from scratch as a native app. Your catches, photos and swims move across automatically the first time you open it. It's faster, it works offline, and there's no account to sign into any more. If you paid for Ghillie before, the unlock is yours free.
Is it on iPhone?

Which languages does it support?
English, French, German, Dutch and Croatian. Weights default to lb and oz and can be switched.
